A Taste of Ethiopia
Welcome to the second culinary chapter in our Taste Of Nations Series. Our next destination stop: Ethiopia!
To ensure the authenticity of our Ethiopian experience, let us head to one of our city's most unique Ethiopian restaurants. 'Ethiopian House Restaurant', our host for this event, has promised an evening of genuine Ethiopian culture and cuisine.
We shall begin this gastronomic affair with a candlelit reception, including a brief history of Ethiopian customs along with an informative lesson on traditional Ethiopian spices and culinary techniques.
Following, we will feast on Ethiopian fare with an emphasis on the creative combinations of spices and sauces and the use of the freshest available ingredients.
Prepare to indulge in a plethora of Ethiopian meat or vegetarian dishes served with generous portions of Injera (Ethiopian bread) and salads.
We will end our evening with The Traditional Coffee Ceremony. One of Ethiopia's most celebrated cultural traditions, the experience will render your local coffee shop decidedly unsatisfactory by comparison.
